First introduction to photography:

Hmmm...

I would have to say it was when I was 13 years old I got a hold of my Grandma’s Leica 1960 35mm Camera.  I was more intrigued with the worn leather case that held the camera than the actual camera itself.  Without film, I wandered throughout the yard pretending to be a photographer capturing whatever was of interest to me.

First Camera: Olympus OM-1

The photo that changed it all:

Ken Posney’s Children’s Pool black and white time exposure photograph entitled “Children’s Pool”.  Ken’s photo was exhibited at Kyocera Wireless’ Art Gallery in La Jolla, California.  Yes, that was the photo that put me in awe and started it all.

First Published Photo:

Ocean Beach Beacon Newspaper published my first time exposure black and white landscape shot of the OB Pier.  My photo won 3rd Place in the 2004 10th Annual Amateur Photo Contest.    Article Review

Greatest Inspirations:

A moment that has not yet been captured.

Goal of Work: To put people in awe... with my photography.

Photograph Most Proud of: Windansea shack

Best Career Moment: Humm...m, I would have to say when I sold 5 big Fine Art prints at my first STREET FAIR event.  My smaller fine art prints were selling like crazy.  I had to go home to print up more of my work to sell at the FAIR.  When I got back to the fair I sat down at the table in my booth to sign all the new prints that I printed up.  When I looked up there was a line of people wanting to purchase the prints that I just signed.  Wow!  I couldn’t believe it.  I felt like a movie star signing autographs that day.  That indeed was a great career moment for me.

Career Aspirations: To inspire the uninspired.

Childhood ambition:

As a child I lived for the moment.  Just as I do now.  I loved playing rough with the boys.   I enjoyed being a tomboy back then and I still enjoy being a tomboy now.

Fondest memory:

Dreaming about my mother picking me up and saying good-bye to me in my dream after she passed away.  (I was 3 years old when I had the dream)

Wildest dream: I would of had a different answer a year ago, but now it is to find happiness in my everyday life.
